MONID board member and head of the coordination office Junior Professor Alexander Kuhlmann (Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Junior Research Group Health Economics / Health Services Research) represented the MONID network at the conference of the European Health Economics Association (EuHEA) in Vienna and presented his research results from a modeling study. He chaired the session “Vaccination Programs” and spoke in his presentation “Performance and cost-utility of pneumococcal vaccination strategies in adults ≥ 60 years old in Germany” about the results of the evaluation of different vaccination strategies for the prevention of pneumococcal infections in older adults.
The EuHEA Conference, which took place in Vienna from June 20 to July 3, 2024, is the largest conference in the field of health economics in Europe. Every two years, it offers the opportunity to learn about the latest research findings and trends in the field of health economics and to exchange ideas with researchers from numerous European and non-European countries.
