In a strategy paper recently published in the journal “Nature Medicine”, researchers, including MONID board member Dr. Berit Lange (Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research), presented a new task force for prevention research.
In addition to chronic diseases, the newly founded “Helmholtz Health Prevention Task Force” focuses on the prevention of infectious diseases. The experts emphasize the great benefits of adaptive strategies for infection prevention and the importance of context-specific dynamic modelling to support them.
