10th Conference on Systems Biology of Mammalian Cells (SBMC2026) from May 4-6, 2026 in Mannheim, Germany

The “10th Conference on Systems Biology of Mammalian Cells – From Data and Models to E-Health” (SBMC2026) will take place from May 4 to 6, 2026 at the Baroque Palace in Mannheim.

The SBMC2026 is organized by the interdisciplinary research network Liver Systems Medicine against Cancer(LiSyM-Cancer), a unique research consortium dedicated to advancing the understanding of liver cancers from a systems biology perspective. This approach is of central importance as it investigates the complex interactions within the liver and its dynamic interaction with other organs.

In line with the main theme “From data and models to e-health”, the 2026 conference will focus on the progress and development of mathematical modeling of data and its systems medicine applications in daily clinical practice.

The thematically diverse program ranges from single cell physiology, artificial intelligence and digital twins to e-health in clinical use. Renowned national and international speakers will be invited to offer a variety of perspectives and a comprehensive overview of interdisciplinary research approaches to the conference topic.

Further information on the planned program can be found in the save-the-date letter and on the SBMC website.

The dates for registration and abstract submission have not yet been finalized.

The SBMC2026 is also pleased to once again present the MTZ® Award for Systems Medicine, which is awarded by the MTZ® Foundation for outstanding doctoral theses by young scientists in the field of systems medicine. Up-to-date information will be made available on the website in due course.
